About MO Better Living

To provide an environment where shame and stigma toward addiction do not exist.

If you or a loved one are trying to stop drinking or using drugs, recovery supportive housing may be an option. Recovery supportive housing homes are for people who could be recovering from a variety of different addiction issues; primarily substance use disorder. People who live in recovery supportive housing are required to comply with some rules that are established within each house, as well as contribute to the home by doing chores, keeping their personal spaces clean, and actively participating in meetings with their housemates/peers. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home. Living in this type of environment can support sobriety and help alcoholics or those with substance use disorder adjust to life free from their addictions. Many suffering from substance use disorder utilize recovery supportive housing to help them transition from inpatient treatment to living independently without using drugs or alcohol.

Our homes are MAT friendly...

All of our recovery houses are friendly to those on medications that can help with substance use disorder. This includes but is not limited to methadone, buprenorphine (suboxone), and vivitrol.
